Tonsils and Adenoids, Oh My

We took Braison to the ear, nose, and throat doctor a couple weeks ago for an allergy test.  After the test was performed, we went in to talk to the doctor about the results.  One look in his mouth and we were scheduling a tonsillectomy.  I KNEW there was something going on with his tonsils and I have been trying to tell the pediatrician for months now, but to no avail.  Turns out he had chronic tonsillitis.  Splendid.
So, this morning we checked into the surgery center and his tonsils and adenoids were removed within the hour.

The surgery went well, no complications at all.  The doctor came and let us know that we did a very good thing having this procedure done; both his tonsils and adenoids were full of puss (TMI, I know).

Hopefully this will put a slow down in the amount of time that this poor little boy is sick.  So far, things are going good at home!
