Do you know how long a Century is??

One hundred years.  Yes, 100.

My great-grandma Shirley celebrated a milestone yesterday, her 100th birthday.

Do you know what they call people who are 100 years old? A centenarian. True story.

We are so lucky to have the ability to celebrate this amazing birthday with such a wonderful woman.

100 - 1

Today we celebrated my great-grandmother's 99th birthday!  I think she was overwhelmed with the fuss that was made over her :o)

We took a cake over and sang to her.
Grandma Shirley can tell you the date and place that she bought any particular item, especially clothes.  She has lived an interesting life and is happy to share memories and stories with anyone who will listen. I have very fond and vivid memories of spending lots of summer hours at her house swimming, and she always had a piece of american cheese for me to eat when I was done.
We are so fortunate that she lives close and we were able to celebrate her day of birth!

Happy Birthday Grandma!

Our "Regular 'ol Grandma" had a birthday yesterday.  We decided to surprise her with dinner and goodies last night.  We had a great dinner.
We are singing "Happy Birthday" to her
We love our grandma and wish her a year of happiness and all things wonderful!

Happy Birthday G'ma B!

My great-grandmother, Barbara, turned 91 today and so we went to help her celebrate.  We first went out to dinner and then back to her house for cupcakes and ice cream.

Grandma's Visit

Grandma DeLorus (my dad's mom) came to visit us before heading south for the winter.

The kids enjoyed their time with her and were able to both show off their girlie side with the new hat and scarf that Grandma Sue got for Lilian.

Braison is such a ham!

Uncle Tyler (my brother) was on the webcam, so the kids were extra excited to be able to talk to him!  They really love him and look forward to their weekly (usually) webcam visits with him :o)

Short and sweet this time!
