A New Do

Lilian decided that she is done with long hair.  She told her daddy, "I want to cut my hair.  Short enough that it doesn't get in my food, but not as short as it was when I was a bald baby."

She loves it!  What a great decision, especially for the summer!

The Curls Come Off

As most of you know (all three of you that read this blog), Lilian has had a hard time growing hair since she was born.  Well, she had finally gotten to the "baby mullet" stage (see previous post) and pretty much stopped there.  Her hair is curly and BLOND, but also thin and kind of scraggly.  So, we decided yesterday that we were going to get her hair cut.  For a couple of reasons; because we want her adult hair to start growing in and also to get rid of the mullet that snarls like crazy all the time.
So, off we went to the salon.  Here are the two before photos.

She loves it and so do we.  It was sad to see all of those curls on the floor, but I know this will help to get the hair growing and it is so much thicker now!
In other news, Braison got new boxer shorts.

Lilian's 1st Haircut

So, we got Lilian's first official haircut tonight.  Poor little girl was getting a very terrible mullet and we decided that maybe it would be better to just have a little cut off so that it was all the same length.

 It isn't too much of a change, but enough to get rid of the mullet and bangs in her eyes.  So thank you Dixie (or, "Pixie" as Lilian and Braison refer to her).  She is so excited with her pretty haircut!!

Ponytails!

 

That is right...Lilian FINALLY has enough hair to put into a "ponytail" or two even today! It is a wonderful day!
